Arbor Day, October 29th – Get a free tree

Our wonderful library, Twin Oaks Library, is hosting an Arbor Day celebration tomorrow, October 29th, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. They will host tree-themed activities and everyone in attendance will receive a Redbud tree sapling. There’s nothing better than planting a tree on Arbor day.

Coincidentally, I just planted my third Mexican Redbud last week on my property. They are nice understory trees that get to be about 8-12 feet tall.

Have a happy Halloween and a shady Arbor Day.
